The innovation in smartphone is getting pumped. The company that involved in smartphone production is like have competition to make the best smartphone in the world and sale it as many as they can. From processing speed, memory capacity, battery life, camera quality, until screen resolution become the point of development in smartphone. Resoluion is one topics that I want to talk to you now, because If smartphone reach full HD resolution on its device, it can display HD TV.

Maybe the first question about HDTV in smartphone is, is there any device that have technology which ready to display HDTV? Well, LG and samsung has been reported that they will roll out 1080pi full HD display resolution in the first half of next year. HTC is also will release HTC J Butterfly that will have full HD resolution. Not only Samsung, LG and HTC, Pantech is also reportedly working on a full HD smartphone that it plans to start marketing in the beginning of next year. And I'm sure many smartphone will follow the technology.

The standard of HTDV device is support the 1080pi full HD display resolution. In other words, those smartphone will be ready to receive and display the HDTV data. So, don't be surprised if next year many people watch HD TV with their smartphone that came out from their pocket.

LG is now aggressively issuing new smartphone to release, one in the list that will be released soon is LG Optimus L9.

They do it to chasing their backwardness in smartphone technology. Let's take a look at LG Optimus L9 specification.

This smartphone is uses dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 for its processor. it is the best because for now, android can't handle quad-core very well. using chipset TI OMAP 4430, and PowerVR SGX540 as its GPU make this smartphone is really powerful in graphic processing.

This smartphone uses IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen 16M colors. Its display resolution is 540 x 960 pixels for 4.7 inches display size. So it means pixel density for this display is around 234 ppi.

Samsung release Galaxy Stellar, CDMA Smartphone with LTE 700 MHz (4G) network speed.

Because this is not GSM device it will not work on any GSM network worldwide. let's take a look on this device capability.

Samsung Galaxy Stellar has Capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. its display size is 4 inch. so it means the pixel density for its display is 233 ppi.

This smartphone has Dual-core 1.2 GHz as its processor. No specific GPU for graphic processing in this device.

Camera

when all smartphone now use camera above 5 MP, Samsung galaxy Stellar just has 3.15 MP for its primary camera. for video call activity, it has 1.3 MP for its front camera.

As the best battery life smartphone this phone gets realy popular because the problem of smartphone this day is short battery life. let's take a look at what's this smartphone bring with it.

for the display Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD has Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. it has 720 x 1280 pixels resolution for 4.7 inches screen size, so it means it has arround 312 ppi. for materials, it uses corning gorilla glass.

I know that you already heard about that five-inch phone that HTC will announced. Previously, it rumored to be called HTC Droid Incredible X.

This smartphone has been announced in Japan and it's called HTC J Butterfly.

It comes out in three different color. red, white and black. The problem with this phone is it rumored that this phone is not available everywhere. Like now, it is only available in Japan. But, let's just take a look at this smartphone review.

HTC J Butterfly Processor

It uses a quad core processor technology, it is Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 chip 1.5 GHz quad-core processor.

Camera

As the high end camera, HTC J Butterfly has 8 MP camera for primary camera I don't know much about camera quality, maybe next time I will update this post when I gathered the information. for video call activity, it has 2 MP for front camera.

Display

for the screen HTC J Butterfly has really big display. That's a five-inch super LCD 3 with a full HD 1920x1080 px resolution.

Memory

It has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and it has external memory card slot.

This smartphone will be the first HTC product that using Windows 8 Operating System. As we know, microsoft has launch windows 8 for mobile phone on this October. Let see around about this smartphone in detail.

HTC 8x Processor

This smartphone rumored to use dual-core 1.5 GHz Processor. I don't know why they're not using quad-core technology like HTC one-X. But, from my experience, dual-core is more than enough for mobile phone.

Display

HTC 8x will use 4.3 inch screen size with 1280x720px resolution. this size is the most popular size for smartphone until now.

Camera

I'm not quite sure about camera quality of HTC 8x. But, they said that it will has 8 MP camera.

Sound

As many HTC product before, HTC 8x will use beats audio for the sound.

LG Finally release LG Optimus G, the first phone to employ the Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset.

Its display size is 4.7 inch. Same as Galaxy S III and HTC One X. I don't know about the best size of smartphone display, it's depend on each person. But what I can say is, with a bigger display, it will be fun to use, hard to carry.

LG Optimus G Processor

LG Optimus G has Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait for its CPU and Adreno 320 for its GPU.

Display

as I mentioned before It has 4.7 inches True HD-IPS + LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display with 768 x 1280 pixels resolution. Using Corning Gorilla Glass for its material.

Camera

this smartphone has 13 MP/8 MP camera (market dependent), with autofocus and LED flash technology. it has Geo-tagging, face detection and image stabilization feature. It can record video for full HD 1080p @30fps and has LED video light. For video call activity, it has 1.3 MP for its front camera.

Memory

LG Optimus G has 32 GB internal memory and 2 GB RAM. because the internal memory is already 32 GB, it doesn't have external memory slot.

Operating System

LG Optimus G using Android OS v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), but they planned to upgrade it to v4.1.1.
